Lexine Harper Community Service Scholarship $4000

The purpose of the scholarship: To reward qualified graduating students from high schools in Cherokee County, Georgia, who have committed themselves to the service of others in the community.

History of the scholarship: The scholarship was created in 2005 in memory of Lexine Harper, a founding member of the BridgeMill Sixes Service League (BSSL). Each year the BSSL holds fundraising events in the community to collect monies for the scholarship program.
